Lockdowns...injury...back to work soon!
It's been a strange old year as Hound Hikers approaches 6 years in business (15 March). As my regular customers will know due to the recent Covid-19 lockdown and the vast majority of customers being at home either on furlough or working from home I have not been back at work since Christmas. I have of course not been idle, as some of you will know I also run a very busy and successful card business with my very busy full time teacher wife :)
While none of this has been an ideal scenario from a business sense for Hound Hikers I am pleased to say that it appears there is some light at the end of this very long tunnel and I should be resuming work soon.
Unfortunately, I will not be back to work on Monday 8 March as I had planned since our glorious leader Boris announced an easing of lockdown restrictions. This is due to badly breaking a knuckle on my foot/toe and a metatarsal (the fracture running down the length of the bone). This injury is taking a long time to heal and as you can imagine being a dog walker with a broken foot is simply not possible.
Nonetheless, I am looking forward to getting back to work as soon as it is possible and I have pencilled in the date: Monday 22 March 2021 for resumption of usual services.
As always please feel free to contact me with any comments or concerns. I have also decided to change the email address for contact (as the renewal price for the "official" houndhikers.co.uk email was outrageously expensive).
The new email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks for your time!
